ELEGANT ENTERTAINING
Our client needed multiple entertaining and dining spaces that served different purposes but had a cohesive feel.
A large dining room with seating for eight is built around a sizable, trestle table, which creates a foundation for lighter, brighter elements like the gilded lantern style chandelier, white painted chairs with geometric fabric on the outbacks, soothing blue wall color and chintz curtains. A classic custom upholstered settee and bolster pair perfectly with the modern artwork above it.
In the smaller entertaining area, a four-person game table and cane-back chairs were painted chinoiserie blue to match the bold prints on the wall. Everything else was kept light to allow those elements to pop. Every space, including the foyer, was about balancing bold, bright blues with clean neutrals for the greatest impact.
